All of our wood products come as untreated maple or beech wood. It is all natural meaning no chemicals were added.

Know the Difference

Untreated Wood

• All Natural
• Chance of cracking or breaking with forceful impact or improper handling if they contain a knot or weakened area
• Lighter in colour

Treated Wood

• A homemade wood finish has been applied that is BABY SAFE
• Wood finish is made from olive oil and beeswax
• Helps preserve the wood; decreases chance of splintering or becoming brittle
• Gives the wood a nice rich colour
